I notice the template code links to the type article if it exists and shows unlinked text if the type article doesn't exist (e.g. {{Whyte|4-4-0}} displays as 4-4-0, while {{Whyte|6-6-0}} displays as 6-6-0). Should we link undefined types to Whyte notation instead (so {{Whyte|6-6-0}} would display as 6-6-0)?

I was adding the Whyte template to Downs Light Railway. It has one locomotive which is an 0-6-0 with a Petrol Hydraulic drive. The Whyte template has DH for Diesel Hydraulic, could someone add PH for Petrol Hydraulic? Thanks 157.131.122.202 ( talk) 22:56, 27 July 2022 (UTC)
