I'm going to un-link the word diacritic. There's simply no need for the diacritic page to have thousands of "What Links Here" references to redirects that are not about diacritics (by definition). Anybody that's confused about the meaning of the word can easily look at the category page. Same for "See also".
I've finished converting all those miscategorized here to {{ R from title without diacritics}}. Hopefully, the better explanations will help folks use the templates.
Hi, using templates within redirects is deprecated, so the {{R from...}} templates shouldn't be used anymore, although categories in redirects are probably safe. See discussion. Wmahan . 05:16, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

Hi- I think there are errors in the code, some of the categories on the /doc pg need to be in "includeonly" on the template page. The ones in "includeonly" on the /doc pg would only categorize the template, not its transclusions, right? --

To ensure that only mainspace redirects are sorted into
Category:Unprintworthy redirects, the line in
this Rcat that contains that category needs to be updated. Please modify that line as follows:
[[Category:Unprintworthy redirects]]
{{Main other|[[Category:Unprintworthy redirects]]}}
Thank you in advance! – Paine Ellsworth CLIMAX! 13:25, 29 August 2013 (UTC)
I shall leave this to administrator discretion...
{{Main other|[[Category:Redirects from titles with ASCII]] [[Category:Unprintworthy redirects]]}}
Perhaps this should be a mainspace-only template for both categories? – Paine Ellsworth CLIMAX! 01:44, 30 August 2013 (UTC)

To editor HJ Mitchell: – wonder if you could do me a favor and lower the move protection to include template editors or, if you feel this template should retain its full move protection, would you be so kind as to move this template as follows?
{{ R from ASCII}} → {{ R from ASCII-only}}
This uncontroversial move is to a name that is more descriptive and coincides with a proposal to move the category in this discussion. I've already moved {{ R to ASCII}} → {{ R to ASCII-only}}, and if you decide to move this page yourself, I shall be happy to make the followup /doc, /sandbox moves and fix any double redirects. – Paine 08:04, 8 July 2015 (UTC)
