I got a question about Template:Photomontage and Module:Photo montage: is it possible to make this Template automatically adjust the heigh of images by cropping the highest to the level of lowest one? I primaly use this template to make rich city-related collages. This template tries to render all images with equal width of all images in row. Sometimes aspect ratio of different images is not the same and as a Result I got an empty space around the lower image which makes the whole collage not so attractive as it could be.

The layout doesn't always work properly on mobile. See for example the infobox at Edirne. Hairy Dude ( talk) 01:19, 31 August 2017 (UTC)
This is an infobox | |
---|---|
<div>...</div>
instead of <table>...</table>
, which appears to have fixed the centering bug. not sure if there are still other problems.

@ Frietjes: Have just accessed the Soho article on mobile, which has a photomontage template and no infobox in the lead, and the lead text is crushed to one side by it ("Soho is an / area of the / City of / ..."). This template should presumably be centred with no text wrap, the same way that regular images are, on mobile? -- Lord Belbury ( talk) 18:02, 31 October 2018 (UTC)
The result of the move request was: Move to Template:Photo montage. ( non-admin closure) -- DannyS712 ( talk) 04:11, 30 April 2019 (UTC)

Template:Photo montage – Separate words, match name with module

I have modified the font-size CSS in this module. The text was being rendered much too small for accessibility per MOS:FONTSIZE, especially when this template was used in {{ sidebar}} (as illustrated in this template's documentation) and infoboxes. – Jonesey95 ( talk) 15:40, 20 November 2019 (UTC)
Is there a reason this needs to be separate from {{ multiple image}}, or should they be merged for consolidation? {{u| Sdkb}} talk 07:42, 24 July 2020 (UTC)
|perrow=
parameter at {{
Multiple image}} allows that, e.g. |perrow=1/2/2/1
for two images on the second and third rows and single image on the top/bottom. {{u|

Right now this template produces white space gaps when photos on the same line are of slightly unequal height, as e.g. here. I think it'd be better to adjust the center line when that happens so that the gaps are removed, similar to how {{ Multiple image}} generally works (btw, I see no one has replied above...). Would that be possible/desirable? I think removing the gaps is more important than having a perfect line down the center. {{u| Sdkb}} talk 08:12, 26 August 2020 (UTC)
