![]() | On 21 May 2021, it was proposed that this page be moved from Template:Ann to Template:Anime News Network. The result of the discussion was moved. |
So I just noticed that an article like Bleach (manga) would come up as " Bleach (manga) (anime) at Anime News Network's Encyclopedia" if one doesn't use the title field. It would be nice if the template could check for things like "(manga)" in the title and not include that part, but I'm not sure if that is possible (or at least practical). Does anyone have any thoughts on this? -- Eruhildo ( talk) 20:14, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
There's something wrong with the markup for {{ann|company}}: when {{ann|company|...|...}} is used, it inserts a linebreak and a curly brace where the word "company" (I presume) should be. However, if you duplicate the last parameter ({{ann|company|...|name|name})), it works fine again. I don't think this is how it was intended, so please fix it. -- Koveras ☭ 07:48, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
Italics should really be turned off for the "name" option.— Ryūlóng ( 竜龙) 04:32, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
I edited Template:Ann/sandbox to allow releases to be used as a type. See the list below.
More testing may be needed but this should make this template more useful. In case someone changes my edit this is my version of this template. -- allen四 names 00:52, 1 November 2009 (UTC)

Should this template use protocol relative URLs ie. "

The Anime News Network Encyclopedia also contains entries for anime/manga/novel-related vocabulary, by using "lexicon/" within its URL (instead of "anime/", "company/", "manga/", or "people/". Is it possible to add "lexicon" as a valid value to the unnamed parameter? ‐‑🌀 SilSinn AL982100 💬 21:27, 28 May 2024 (UTC)
