  • @ Munfarid1: This interesting article is new enough and long enough. The image is in the public domain, the article is neutral and I detected no copyright issues. A QPQ is not needed as Munfarid1 is new to DYK. I think we need a different hook, these ones read rather like advertisements for the online images, and the figure of 467 may be correct, but is not borne out by the source which mentions 327 as the search result. @ Cwmhiraeth: Thank you very much for your comments and review. I was offline for some days, but have just added two more alternative hooks here. Hope you will find one of these more suitable. - I also have corrected the number of pictures in the archive. Munfarid1 ( talk) 06:59, 30 December 2019 (UTC)
  • ALT2:... that the British couple Max Henry Ferrars and Bertha Ferrars traveled all over British Burma at the end of the 19th century and published one of the first ethnographic accounts of indigenous culture of that time? Source: Max Henry Ferrars
  • ALT3:... that the British colonial officer Max Henry Ferrars took hundreds of pictures of Burmese life and customs at the end of the 19th century, for example two men playing the Burmese version of chess (pictured)? Source: Max Henry Ferrars
I have copied your new proposed hooks here. Approving ALT2 and ALT3. Cwmhiraeth ( talk) 07:14, 30 December 2019 (UTC)
@ Cwmhiraeth: Thanks a lot for your great collaborative effort. Makes me interested in more articles and DYK for the future! :) Munfarid1 ( talk) 07:19, 30 December 2019 (UTC)
Note: I have fixed Munfarid1's sig, which was causing an error on the template. The sig was missing a final "])" at the end after "talk]", so it ends "talk]])". Munfarid1, you'll want to fix this; otherwise, the talk link doesn't work. Thanks, and congratulations on your successful DYK nomination. I've also struck the original hook and ALT1 per Cwmhiraeth's comments, and added "(pictured)" to ALT3—I wasn't quite sure how to fit that into ALT2, so I didn't do so. @ BlueMoonset Thanks for your help and encouragement, will take care of this in the future. Munfarid1 ( Munfarid1)
