interesting, well sourced. Please format the bare urls. The hook: can we compare the plural "mandolins" to the singular "Stradivarius"? I miss an inline citation for it. Please mention (pictured) somehow. - How about mentioning the one bought by the Tsar's relative? -- Gerda Arendt ( talk) 23:04, 29 June 2013 (UTC)
Its on page 67 in Sparks' book - the same page which is cited after the next sentence. We don't have a picture of the one bought by the Tsar's mother. See if you like the hook better now. User:Maunus ·ʍaunus·snunɐw· 01:45, 30 June 2013 (UTC)
yes -- Gerda Arendt ( talk) 08:52, 30 June 2013 (UTC)
ps: considering that the very flat picture will probably not be taken anyway, you may want to have an alternative about the more spectular instrument ready, I will keep watching, -- Gerda Arendt ( talk) 08:54, 30 June 2013 (UTC)
We can't use the more spectacular one unfortunately because it's fairuse. User:Maunus ·ʍaunus·snunɐw· 13:10, 30 June 2013 (UTC)
I know, that's why I asked for a hook without picture, - the one shown here will not likely be taken, as far as I know pic choices, Italic text
I thought hook and picture would be considered separately. The hook originally worked as well with the image as without it. User:Maunus ·ʍaunus·snunɐw· 16:55, 30 June 2013 (UTC)
I was not clear enough: I meant a hook about the Tsarish instrument. (I shouldn't do it, or we need another reviewer for the ALT. -- Gerda Arendt ( talk) 17:03, 30 June 2013 (UTC)
ALT1: ... that one of the luxurious model 8 mandolins of Italian luthier Luigi Embergher was purchased by Maria Feodorovna, Empress of Russia? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Maunus ( talkcontribs) 17:07, 30 June 2013 (UTC)
better if no image, imo -- Gerda Arendt ( talk) 20:07, 30 June 2013 (UTC)
