• Everything looks good: citations, neutrality, copyvio, etc. I prefer the first hook because it names the university, familiar to more people than the person.

• Hi, I came by to promote this. As most international readers (like me) will not have heard of Rice University, I'd like to promote ALT1, which at least has a juicy murder plot. But I don't see anything mentioned or cited in the article about Rice being a cotton magnate. Yoninah ( talk) 17:14, 23 June 2020 (UTC)

  @ Yoninah: Thanks for promoting the nomination. Your raise a good point. There is no reference to Rice as a cognate magnate in the article, and I did not see a natural place to insert that fact.
