Fannie Mahood Heath

  • ... that Fannie Mahood Heath was nicknamed the "flower lady of North Dakota" for her garden that included over 450 different species of flowers, bushes, and trees? Source: "In 1925, it was estimated that there were over 450 varieties of shrubs and flowers on four acres of land on the Heath farm" and "It proclaimed her as the "Flower Woman of North Dakota."" ( Fannie Mahood Heath Papers - University of North Dakota)

  • Nice research. Its new enough and size and referencing are sound. The hook is interesting and it has a good source. The article is neutral. No evidence I could see of close paraphrasing. I did a first pass copy edit and replaced a sentence in the lede which was unsupported by the rest of the article. It now has a photo but sadly it cannot be used. Her design for her garden is online and must be over 70 years old. It could be used in the article if a US copyright expert could review its provenance. I think this good to go.... another for the Women in Red gardeners editathon. Victuallers ( talk) 14:41, 10 April 2021 (UTC)
