Image is nice in small size, and the licence seems right (it was released to Creative Commons by its owner).

The hook has a confusing structure: it's unclear why German is relevant, and whether "after" is used chronologically or as the equivalent of "based on". I'd like to suggest the somewhat longer but clearer hook (and have struck the original):
I was divided as to whether "absurdist" should be added before "French", and ultimately left it out for brevity, but it can be included if you wish,
