Yeah. I'm not keen on ALT2 myself, I think when there are so many commonly known words that can be used, requiring a wl to use corpulent is silly.

I think it's fine and even desirable to use wording that stretches the reader's vocabulary a bit, and anyway I don't think corpulent is any more obscure than rotund.

Confirmed new creation, size (6,357 characters), and policy. Image OK. I prefer Alt1 (although the quote does use the word "corpulent"). Referenced but cited work is behind a pay-wall, so assuming good faith. -
