Hi
Dumelow, please see my review below.
Article moved to mainspace on 5 Sep, long enough, well written and well cited. Offline printed sources accepted in good faith, and basic facts checked on the available online sources given and a quick search. QPQ done. No copyvio issues found.
Was not able to verify the original hook and ALT2, since they use offline printed sources. However, I was able to verify ALT1 through Google Books, and I think this is the simplest and most interesting hook. To me (with very little knowledge of military history) the fact that a commercial car ferry received a battle honour is quite interesting, and perhaps this could be further emphasized to make it more "hooky" for the general public. Maybe something like this?
ALT1b ... that the merchant vessel MS Nordic Ferry (pictured) was awarded a battle honour for service in the Falklands War?
I think there might be a mistake with the dates where it says "Nordic Ferry sailed for the UK on 29 April and upon her arrival was refitted for commercial use, returning to service at Felixstowe on 25 August." This appears to be a discrepancy with the previous sentence which says she picked the Royal Marines on 8 July. Could it be that it was supposed to be 29 July instead of 29 April?
