Comment: If there's a better way to word the hook then do tell.
...that without creating any
fine art objects for a second year, members of the Leeds 13 student artist collective were still
first class?
Comment: Thanks for your interest. My suggestion goes a bit wider. Leeds 13 were fine art students who did not produce any fine art objects in the last two years of their degrees but still graduated with top honours.

New enough, long enough. No neutrality problems found, no maintenance templates found, no copyright problems found (Earwig gives one 31% reading, but it's a false positive). QPQ done. The first sentence in Exhibitions is unsourced, this needs to be fixed before I can approve it. I'm going to have another think about this tomorrow, but for now I propose something like ALT2: that the Leeds 13's attempt at staging a holiday was taken at face value by the
British press outlets?--Launchballer 20:26, 21 June 2023 (UTC)

Launchballer: Your proposed hooks are alright but the unsourced sentenced is a generalisation of sources cited in the section so i'm not sure if it has to be cited.

I think it would be better if it were moved into the lede, which I've done. Good to go.--Launchballer 14:58, 8 July 2023 (UTC)
Hi, thanks for the interest in
Leeds 13 and apologies for being a DYK newbie.
LaunchballerGoing Places was one work among many by various artists at those exhibitions. I've clarified this in the Exhibitions section and removed your mention of those exhibitions from the lede because, in my view, they were minor events better covered in the body. Leeds 13 summed themselves up with the quote in the final paragraph of the lede. They took the public's idea of "artist" as an individual making aesthetic objects possibly for sale and turned it on its head: working as a group and making their art from one-off events that couldn't be marketed. How about "... that the Leeds 13 student
fine art collective's holiday as art was a
first class hoax on the
UK mass media."
