Lebon Patisserie & Café

  • ... that the Lebon Patisserie & Café in Istanbul closed in 2022 after 212 years of business due to the very high increase of the monthly rent? Source: "İstanbul'da İstiklal Caddesi'nde 212 yıldır faaliyet gösteren Lebon Pastanesi, Cumartesi günü kapandı. Mülk sahibi Karagözyan Vakfı, aylık 42 bin 500 lira olan kira bedelini 10 bin dolara (yaklaşık 185 bin TL) çıkarmıştı." (in Turkish) [1]

  • New enough. Long enough. Reliable citations throughout. They are in Turkish but check out per Google Translate. Hook is interesting and cited. QPQ done. Just one minor issue: I don't see that the landlord is of the Armenian community in the source. (I know the name is Armenian. Not sure why that needs to be inserted.) Please fix that, and we should be good to go. Hybernator ( talk) 03:49, 12 November 2022 (UTC)
  • Thanks a lot for your review. All minority figures' origin are mentioned explicitly in the article. So the said foundation's affiliation. No negative assertion was meant. I delete it for you. CeeGee 11:07, 12 November 2022 (UTC)
  • Thank you. I could only go by what Google Translate shows. Anyway, it's GTG. (Side note: I sincerely hope the shop will reopen elsewhere in the beautiful vibrant city.) Hybernator ( talk) 20:16, 12 November 2022 (UTC)
