By my calculation the edit as of
20:42, July 18, 2012 was a hendecupling (eleven time) expansion of the prose. The details from the hook appears in the second paragraph of the

Date and length of article is verified. Format and content of hook is verified as well. The "inventor of the modern sports story" bit is verified in the book cited, and the "first broadcast of the Wimbledon Championship to the U.S" is verified in the source given. The book used to cite "first trans-Atlantic sportscast" is not freely available, but good faith is assumed.--
