... that the Harrington Hump has been built for
railway stations in the
United Kingdom for mobility-impaired access, since platform heights are not standardised and refurbishment is very expensive?
Good. Long enough and new enough (actually created on Dec. 3, but that doesn't impact eligibility). Adequately referenced. Found no plagarism - there was one phrase that may have been a bit close for comfort, but I reworded it. Hook is referenced and just short enough. I might word it as "since platform heights are not standardized.." which would still be just within the length limits.

Many thanks SS. I was thinking along the lines of "Did you know that
Harrington was the first station to get the
hump"... but I'm sure that'd break one or two rules. Rlendog, the article was created on the 5th, not that it matters. --

You're correct about the creation date. I must have been seeing things. But either way it was and is eligible.

Total agreement. Fine DYK topic and article. I want to change the word "interface", though ! Though it's still a fine DYK. ~

"interface" gone. "The Hump is positioned to meet a particular door..." --
