ALT3:... that when the Emigrant Industrial Savings Bank Building was completed, it was the largest bank building in the United States? Source: New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission; Dolkart, Andrew S.; Postal, Matthew A. (2009). Postal, Matthew A. (ed.). Guide to New York City Landmarks (4th ed.). New York: John Wiley & Sons. p. 31.
Comment: DYKcheck may show an error on this page because a copyright violation was removed before expansion. Unfortunately, there's no free image of the banking hall that I can find.

Definitely expanded by more than five times the original prose, long enough, no problems with neutrality or sourcing. Earwig doesn't pick any plagiarism up. One source behind a paywall, but I accept it in good faith. Only thing left would be a QPQ. In my personal opinion, ALT1 and ALT2 are the most interesting options here. Good job!

Good to go. I'd suggest ALT1, it's the most interesting one to me. All of these hooks are very good, though.
