Interesting life, on good sources, French sources accepted AGF, no copyvio obvious. I like both hooks, but would prefer a third that says that she came from Rwanda at the time, but was inspired to more than just plays. - Article: please read again and fight some duplication, London - London, or her name in several sentences in a row, which could be "she" sometimes. In lead and later: say "work" only after you said more precisely what kind of work. Here, it seems to mean "play", but could be a poem, a symphony, - see what I mean? "singer and storyteller", - is that still in the film? If general, peraps mention before getting more specific? "first solo album" - as a singer? - Finally: do we have reviews that would be worth mentioning? --

Clarified the points made above. As for a hook, ALT1 kind of says that, but how about:
Thank you. What do you think of this, to avoid repetition, and to indicate that she already wrote some, - not "is now in the process of writing her first plays"?
