The articles themselves are grand (new enough, long enough, reliably sourced; though I'd be inclined to fold a few of the consecutive uses of the same ref together) but I think the hook itself needs a few minor tweaks. Philippe Ariès isn't exactly a household name, so I'm not sure it's worth piping his surname only (use "...that
Philippe Ariès's Centuries of Childhood"), and although the image is suitable both for decoration and in terms of freeness, it would still need to be alluded to in some way in the hook. As it is I'm not sure a suitable aside would fit within the 200-character count for the hook (with the suggested amendment we're just fitting inside it and no more). A possible shorter hook mentioning the image might be: "... that
Philippe Ariès's Centuries of Childhood inspired an "anti-Arièsian" movement to dismantle his thesis on the
history of childhood (1560 depiction pictured), which Medieval Children did completely?". This just sits at 200 characters on the nose, but feel free to further amend it.

Thanks, Grapple. I had only taken those shortcuts for length—amended the hook. Nice footwork czar♔ 15:56, 15 October 2013 (UTC)
Looks good to go to me then; though I think someone else may have to sign off on this since the amendments were proposed by me.

I know that's been a recent precedent, but
the rules say it's okay. I think it's more about choosing your own work over another author's than a COI. czar♔ 16:13, 16 October 2013 (UTC)
In that case I'm happy to sign off on these articles.
