fine article on a noble horse, well sourced. I admit that the source for the record is a bit too long for me, can you point out where that is mentioned? The other parts of the hook are supported, --

The first sentence of the third-last paragraph of the
source says, "The English St. Leger was run in record time, 3.2 2-5...." Hope this helps. --
