The article meets most of the criteria, but is barely long enough, being only 1550 characters with the section titles and TOC. It needs a little more said. How about including a recipe? (No! ignore my last!)
It is neutral, has adequate citation, cites appropriate sources and doesn't seem to have any other problems.
The length was 1,675 bytes which exceeds the 1,500 required for DYK. I would have made the article longer but I was short of material. I have now found that the Cornell Lab of Ornithology has a "Life history" page so I have added extra information. The page size now is 2,215 bytes.

Comment: the article is ready to go. However, having added new facts, would you consider a different DYK, based on the tendency of the birds to fly in different directions, to confuse predators?
