Article is new, long enough and neutral. It cites sources inline except the ending of the first paragraph under "Tours". "Earwig's Copyvio Detector" reports no text similarities at all. The hook is well-formed and interesting. Its length is within limit. Its fact is accurate with inline citations. Wikilinking of the Russian cities in the article and the hook would wellcome, but not necessary. QPQ is absent. The nominator may have less than five DYK-credits. I will approve after the above mentioned issue is addressed.

@CeeGee Thank you for reviewing this article. On your points:
I added wikilinks to the cities
I added inline citations to the last points in the first paragraph of the "Tours" section.
Thanks.
I will do QPC in the next day or two (I am new to DYK with < 5 noms and still learning the ropes)
There is no need for your QPQ.
Question: In the hook, would it be more clear to change the word "Bolshoi" (the subject's theater company) to "Russian" (the subject's nationality)?
I would recommend the use of wikilinked
Bolshoi Ballet instead.
- Done
Question: Would the hook read better to have all three city names ending their phrase, ie, change the ending to "and left alone on the lake in Chelyabinsk"?
I think it is not necessary.
- I cleaned it up; with the new wikilinks and Bolshoi link is the hook still within size limits?
Question: Should the city names in the hook be wikilinked?
If I was you, I would do it. However, it is not compulsory.
- Done
Question: Would an image in the DYK be desirable or appropriate?
