Content dispute

I've locked the page for 3 days due to the ongoing dispute. Ping me if a WP:CONSENSUS on how to proceed comes sooner, and I'll unlock it sooner. Sergecross73 msg me 16:32, 17 April 2024 (UTC) reply

I'll point to, some discussion on my talk page, but to express the issues with the large changes:
  • we never quote that much material, even if that material was in the public domain. If the decision is freely licence, it should be added to Wikisource and we can link to that here. In either case if being free or copyrighted, we defer to third party sources to identify relavant quotes since we are not to be considered experts in law to identify what are key statements per WP:OR.
  • Our purpose is to summarize from reliable sources per WP:V. If reliable sources don't cover the full legal details, it is not our job to make up for that outside perfunctionary details (like dates or hearings and decisions)
  • On part of these edits, much of the BG was neutered to remove the significance of the ECTS and other facts that led to why this case was made, summarized in sources. Masem ( t) 17:52, 17 April 2024 (UTC) reply
