Overwhelmingly, the most common use of "The Upper Room" is to refer to the Cenacle (the room of the Last Supper). All the other references on this page are derived from it (i.e. churches named after that room, a ballet set in that room, etc.).
Since the primary use is to refer to the Cenacle, I propose the following:
- Rename the disambiguation page to " Upper Room (disambiguation)", and note there that the primary meaning is Cenacle. (This would create a redirect page at The Upper Room pointing to that new page.)
- Set "
Upper Room" to redirect to
Cenacle (it currently points to
The Upper Room)
- Check links to Upper Room and remove the redirects, verifying that they do refer to the Cenacle, and not one of the other works and/or the redirect page
- Add a REDIRECT template at the top of Cenacle, pointing to Upper Room (disambiguation)
- Change The Upper Room , and have it redirect to Cenacle
- Check the various differently-capitalized redirects (
The upper Room,
the Upper room,
Upper room, etc.) that had pointed to
The Upper Room and have them redirect to
Cenacle
- Again, check pages that link to those pages and make sure they mean to go to Cenacle; if not, send them to the appropriate page, or the DAB page
That seems uncontroversial to me, since nobody's been paying attention to this page much lately. But if people raise objections, I'll start a discussion on WP:REQMOVE. If I don't hear objections, I'll probably do this move later in the week.
