Since this has been unsourced since 2015, I'm moving it here. The self-published website of the organization cannot serve as a citation, since it's not a published, secondary source. Yuchitown ( talk) 21:50, 7 July 2019 (UTC)Yuchitown
In keeping with the request not to duplicate deleted material on the talk page, here is a diff of information about public presentations of Yaqui culture throughout the 20th century in Lubbock, Texas. Yuchitown ( talk) 02:12, 15 February 2024 (UTC)Yuchitown

I don't know if I can be bothered looking into this myself, but there's obviously something weird with a honorary resolution in 2015 for an organisation that formed in 2019. Either the resolution was for some other organisation or this one has a history for several years before they officially formed the nonprofit. Nil Einne ( talk) 10:29, 11 February 2024 (UTC)
CSMention269, what exactly needs to be cleaned with this article? Yuchitown ( talk) 01:10, 12 February 2024 (UTC)Yuchitown
For anyone interested, here was the previous iteration of this article, prior to overhaul. If anyone has more content from reliable secondary, published sources, please feel free to add. The goal is to focus this article on the Texas Band of Yaqui Indians organization itself, as opposed to its claims (which are easily accessible via the two links to its website), and to stick to reliable, secondary published material – basically, what is substantiated by outside sources. Any material about Yaqui people can on the Yaqui article (which needs some help, if anyone is so inclined). Yuchitown ( talk) 02:06, 12 February 2024 (UTC)Yuchitown
