Is scotting a real negotiation tactic? The person who claimed to developed it has the same initials as a character who uses it in The Office, and I can find no other sources on the internet for it. Further, I removed a randomly placed reference to The Office in the article. Mph703 20:12, 4 September 2017 (UTC)

I did not see in this article the concept of Open & transparent negotiation.

It looks like Open & transparent negotiation exist and are used by some countries such as Canada, United States, Mexico and Chile ^[1].

Here is a definition of «Open negotiation»: «There is another tradition that some UE workplaces adhere to, and that is having negotiations be an open process. This means that any UE member is welcome and encouraged to sit in and watch the negotiations take place, either at all negotiating sessions or at certain sessions which the Committee designates.» ^[3].

So here the question: how can we clarify in this article what are open and transparent negotiations?

This question also regards Brexit as:

The topic mentioned above by 77.193.104.227 seems to be more appropriate for the articles on open business and open government. See also the articles in Category:Transparency (behavior). Open negotiation is just negotiation that occurs in those open domains (as opposed to privately); it doesn't seem to be a special kind, technique, or subset of negotiation.
