Would someone please WP:CITE source(s) for this article, specifically the claim that "He is widely recognized as a leading figure in the recently renewed field of virtue ethics"? Hall Monitor 21:23, 5 August 2005 (UTC) reply

This isn't a very difficult claim to verify, if you'd search for two seconds. Slote has published a few books and a number of peer reviewed articles in prestigious journals, and you can find citations refering to Slote in discussions of virtue ethics everywhere.

On the Contrary

I believe Slote to be a pompous fool whose best contribution to the field of Ethics was 'let's change the names of virtues, for some reason. Oh, huzzah, aren't I spiffy?' What a joke. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.163.177.244 ( talk) 12:01, 8 April 2014 (UTC) reply

Bibliography

I have commenced a tidy-up of the Bibliography section using cite templates. Capitalization and punctuation follow standard cataloguing rules in AACR2 and RDA, as much as Wikipedia templates allow it. Feel free to continue. Sunwin1960 ( talk) 06:17, 22 September 2015 (UTC) reply
