I'm going to start listing the image issues here. I won't have time to go through all of the images right now, but you can start working on the ones I have found:
Image:E A Behring.jpg - Right now, there is no evidence that this image was made by the NIH (its license). Note that the NLM states
that it does not own the copyright to these images. You need to track down more information about this image from another source, demonstrate unequivocally that the NIH produced it, or find another image.
Removed for now.
Image:RobertKoch cropped.jpg - There is no evidence that this image was made by the NIH. Note that the NLM states
that it does not own the copyright to these images. You need to track down more information about this image from another source, demonstrate unequivocally that the NIH produced it, or find another image.
Removed for now.
Image:Santiago Ramón y Cajal.png - I'm a bit confused on the source here - it is listed as the Instituto Cajal, Madrid. What does that mean, exactly? Also, the license asserts that the image was published before 1923 - is that in the US and in Spain? What evidence do we have to verify the date provided in the image description?
Image:Ilya Ilyich Mechnikov.jpg - The license tag for this image claims that the image was published before 1923 - what evidence is there of that?
Well,
Ilya Ilyich Mechnikov did die in 1916, so the image would have had to have been made before then (although I guess it is possible that it was published after 1923). Is
this one any better?
Image:Emil Theodor Kocher.jpg - There is no evidence that this image was made by the NIH. Note that the NLM states
that it does not own the copyright to these images. You need to track down more information about this image from another source, demonstrate unequivocally that the NIH produced it, or find another image.
Removed for now.
Image:Allvar Gullstrand.jpg - There is no evidence that this image was made by the NIH. Note that the NLM states
that it does not own the copyright to these images. You need to track down more information about this image from another source, demonstrate that the NIH unequivocally produced it, or find another image.
Removed for now.
Image:Fredrick banting.jpg - This image has an incorrect source link - could you fix it so that I can verify the information and licensing?
Image:Willem Einthoven.jpg - We cannot use the "life of the author + 70 years" license, since we do not know who the author is. I would suggest a pre-1923 license. Do you know where the image was first published (that will determine which 1923 license)?
Fixed the licensing.
Image:Jules NICOLE.jpeg - This image is licensed under the "life of the author + 70 years", but we don't know who the author is. If this was published before Nicole died, we can easily justify a pre-1923 license, because he died in 1922. Do you know if it was published before he died?
Fixed the licensing.
I'll add more as I go.

I have done a quick browse of the English version of the site and I haven't found that. I'll try to find someone who speaks Dutch to look through the Dutch version.
