Keith Allen is a well known left-wing activist and critic of the conservative party. His comments about David Cameron and Willam Hague were made ironically are were not meant to be taken literally.
Again, it is common knowledge that Keith Allen's politics are left-wing and in no way can he be described as a supporter of the conservative party. The comments he made were obviously ironic as he is well known critic of conservative policies and mindsets.

"Although he portrays the persona of the working-class, Allen is a former public schoolboy who was born in Wales."
Does that sentence from the first paragraph actually contain seemingly opposing ideas that warrant the use of the word "although"? Or is being a "public schoolboy" in Wales considered to be an upper class position? I do not live in Britain, so maybe I am not familiar with their use of the term. Somebody please explain. Otherwise, the sentence should be changed. JBFrenchhorn ( talk) 10:24, 27 November 2008 (UTC)
According to Debrett's, Allen's birth name and date are different than the info in the article. Infact the info in Debrett's was the info that USED to be on the article and on sites like IMDb until it was recently changed. Did Allen send Debrett's the wrong info as a joke or what? "Allen is an outspoken supporter of the Conservative Party." This statement in the article is based on a just one interview, three years ago, expressing approval of two of the party's leaders: "It's come to something when I think David Cameron is right." Is it a bit of a stretch to make him a "supporter of the Conservative Party" itself on this basis? An IP editor, who has commented above, keeps removing this. I've restored it as vandalism, but it could do with a second look. Views? -- Old Moonraker ( talk) 06:45, 10 October 2011 (UTC)
Keith Allen is actually a Conservative voter. He only pretended to be left-wing in the 1990s. ( ClarksonW ( talk) 18:00, 12 October 2014 (UTC))
"Together The film Carry On Columbus hit the big screen with Keith Allen playing Pepi The Poisoner."

Why do he and his siblings have the surname Allen when his father’s surname was Owen? Feels like this should be explained in the Early Life section. 86.11.32.31 ( talk) 23:04, 11 March 2023 (UTC)
