Is there even a Karpeles Manuscript Library Museum in Alvin, Texas? The article formerly said:

Well early 2015 is behind us now, and the phone number given is out of service. This latter, especially, makes me doubt that this is a live operation, and so I have removed the Alvin, Texas entry from the list. Herostratus ( talk) 19:27, 27 September 2016 (UTC)
Mr.David Karpeles is confirmed to have passed away some weeks ago (January 19th 2022). Reports of some of the families museums to be closed a lots of changes being made. [1] — Preceding unsigned comment added by Diazolveraco ( talk • contribs) 00:04, 27 February 2022 (UTC)

I propose that the sections Library locations and Former locations be split into List of Karpeles Manuscript Library Museums since that's basically what they are. - Relinus ( talk) 14:52, 16 June 2023 (UTC)
