Reason

The reason this disambiguation page was created is because there is a historical figure named José María Leyva mentioned in the articles Magonista rebellion of 1911 and Capture of Mexicali. There is no English Wikipedia article for this person, but when you search for him, you are redirected to an article for a different person (the first person listed on this page). The man mention in these articles does have an article on Spanish Wikipedia, but an editor has deleted this link from this page: https://en.wikipedia.org/?title=Jos%C3%A9_Mar%C3%ADa_Leyva_%28disambiguation%29&diff=642562985&oldid=642554174 Ghostofnemo ( talk) 05:44, 15 January 2015 (UTC) I just restored the link. These are two different people. Ghostofnemo ( talk) 05:50, 15 January 2015 (UTC) reply

Ghost, I'm gonna request deletion of José María Leyva (disambiguation), since English disambiguation pages should only disambiguation English articles. Once an English article has been written, feel free to re-create it. Thanks, Oiyarbepsy ( talk) 05:20, 15 January 2015 (UTC) reply

Whoops, I didn't see this comment until after I restored the link to the second person. He is mentioned in two article on English Wikipedia, but the redirect was sending to the wrong persons English Wikipedia article. See disambiguation page talk page. Ghost, if you want to include this person, you also will need to list an English language article that discusses him. We can keep the link to Spanish, but we need an English one to keep the page. Oiyarbepsy ( talk) 15:13, 15 January 2015 (UTC) reply
There are two mentioned in the first talk page post above, Magonista rebellion of 1911 and Capture of Mexicali. Ghostofnemo ( talk) 01:30, 16 January 2015 (UTC) reply
