He has announced that he is resigning. This is not the same as resigning. Until he resigns, he is still a Member of Parliament.

Until the Treasury appoint him to an office of profit under the crown (either the Bailiff of the Chiltern Hundreds, or the Steward and Bailiff of the Manor of Northstead) he is still a member of parliament. This appointment has not yet happened, and the Parliament website still lists him as a member of parliament. Ergo, he is still a member of parliament. Shortening a longer, probably incorrect comment I made a few minutes ago (in Talk History if of any interest): a letter by Khan and others is signed as "Imran Khan MP" (where others sign with forename and surname, not just surname). Ref: letter by Imran Khan and other members of the Houses of Parliament (9 November 2020). "Britain's heroes". The Daily Telegraph. However parliamentary documents refer to him as "Ahmad Khan, Imran". So it's probably correct to refer to him as "Ahmad Khan" as a double-barrelled surname, rather than just "Khan", though I don't know if there are also sources that refer to "Khan".
