I think this article is missing a more global perspective. We don't have much data or studies on Southern American countries, Africa, or Asian countries. I think this could be improved significantly if data from these countries were implemented throughout the article.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Booksntea ( talk • contribs) 3 May 2019 (UTC)
I agree. And Gun Violence as used here should at least be coordinated with Mass murder. Which is the act and this page addresses only the Method. -jim 20:33, 26 May 2022 (UTC)
I had, what I think to be, a great idea to add a new section based around possible causes or reasons people may commit gun violence, since this page has already touched on other concepts like the repercussions and costs of it. I just thought that adding some information about what leads up to these acts would fit in well with the rest of the page — Preceding unsigned comment added by I AM THE ONE TRUE PHOENIX ( talk • contribs) 01:02, 2 May 2020 (UTC)
I have a few statistical and informational changes to add to the prevention section about the attempted use of psychiatric evaluations to predict and prevent gun violence. If anybody has some additional suggestions for me, it would be greatly appreciated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by I AM THE ONE TRUE PHOENIX ( talk • contribs) 21:23, 9 May 2020 (UTC)
I very much believe that gun ownership is a major contributor to homicide and suicide rates worldwide but I think that the article is vulnerable to criticism from those who disagree with me, because it seems to be one-sided. It is also gramatically incorrect, which could lead to ridicule. 193.222.252.42 ( talk) 23:45, 24 August 2022 (UTC)
