Adding Information on Clinical Trials

I am planning on adding information regarding the historical under representation of women in clinical trials and how it has led to male centered treatments for many illnesses [1]. This is in important topic that is related to medical diagnosis because the treatments that result from gender biased clinical trials may not be effective when used to treat women. Although there are guidelines [2] in place to prevent sex biased clinical trials, it is important to acknowledge that gender biased clinical trials still affect women today. I plan on making my contribution under a new subheading and I plan my contribution to be about 250 words. I have more sources and information on my sandbox .
