I believe that this page should be merged with the existing page for intermittent explosive disorder. This page has much more information that the Episodic Dyscontrol Syndrome page, and the latter has disputed information on it. Frenchtoastkitty ( talk) 03:47, 12 November 2022 (UTC) reply

I agree that these two articles should not both exist, and that this article should be merged in to Intermittent explosive disorder. It has been long enough and there is WP:CONSENSUS, so you may proceed to WP:MERGECLOSE. If you are unable to do so, I may be able to get around to this at some point, though I'll likely not remember. I didn't approve it, I just voiced support and per WP:CONCENSUS we have consensus and so the merge can proceed. Had nobody voiced anything, for or against, after some period of time, you could proceed per WP:SILENCE (silence in this case is consensus).

I have only done one merge myself, but if you follow the directions step-by-step at WP:MERGECLOSE and WP:MERGETEXT it will walk you through it.

Have no fear of doing it incorrectly. I did my first one feeling the same way but the instructions are very step-by-step and straightforward, and you WP:CANTBREAKIT. Anything can be fixed after the fact or reverted with minimal effort. The WP:Helpdesk is great if you get stuck or maybe felt you did a step wrong. I understand being busy which is why I haven't gotten around to this either; it is on my tasks list though. There's no rush so whenever you want to do it.
