On 2007-01-14, Liane Hansen played as an on-air contestant in NPR's Weekend Edition / Sunday puzzle segment with Will Shortz. The puzzle was a game of categories on Liane's name. For the category "flowers" and the letter E, Liane confused edelweiss with Idlewild, the airport in New York City now known as JFK.
