Jeff Guo (October 25, 2016).
"Wikipedia is fixing one of the Internet's biggest flaws". The Washington Post. For instance—right now on the page for Black Lives Matter, there's an anonymous contributor who is upset that the article doesn't mention George Soros, who is believed by some on the alt-right to be the movement's ultimate sponsor. (It's not true.) The contributor accuses the pages editors of conspiring 'portray BLM in the most favorable light possible.' 'Easy,' one of the editors responds. 'Take a breath and let's see what we can agree on.'
The
contentious topics procedure applies to this page. This page is related to post-1992 politics of the United States and closely related people, which has been
designated as a contentious topic.

I was surprised not to find any mention of Palestine in this article, and the history of solidarity between BLM and Palestine. See, for example,
NPR,
The Nation,
Vox, and
Time.

It may be worth adding to the 2023 and 2024 years in the history section of the article.
