Your edit violates Wikipedia's NPOV policy - all articles must be written from a neutral point of view. You cannot claim that the school has a bad reputation for games or that this is attributable to the head of games without citing a reliable source. Now now Mr Anonymous, calm down. Wikipedia needs to make sure that all content can be verified. If you can provide a decent source for your material, by all means add it, but taking your word for it is simply not good enough. Even if you alone feel that your school (as you imply) is bad at games, it does not mean that you can add this material - Wikipedia is not the place to make political/emotive/etc. statements. This is not because you are not trusted - it's because everyone else just wants to make sure that the article is accurate. I am almost certain that Bethany is not a Church of England school. As the article points out, it was founded in 1866 by Joseph Kendon and the assets of the charity which is Bethany's legal entity are controlled ultimately by a committee of governors. It has similar aims, objectives and beliefs, perhaps, as the Church of England, but it is wholly independant.-- BMT 18:14, 28 January 2007 (UTC) reply

The Charities Commission, indicates otherwise, Bethany School's objects are stated as

THE PUBLIC SCHOOLS OR COLLEGES, OR ANY OTHER SCHOOLS UNIVERSITIES OR EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENTS. 

Whereas a genuine CoE school, Ashley Church of England School has the following objects

SCHOOL TO BE MAINTAINED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PRINCIPLES OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND.

Furthermore, if you read through the documents associated with Bethany's entry it is quite clear that no parent organisation is involved. Bethany does have an Anglican ethos and may associate with CoE but I would think it a loose association at best, if I may be so bold I would say that ISC are wrong. -- BMT 09:02, 29 January 2007 (UTC) reply

It seems to me that the current situation of the Bethany School being a disambiguation page is not appropriate, this Bethany School is larger, better known, and to be frank, a more extensive article. Since there is only one other Bethany I propose replacing the disambiguation page with a disambiguation link as per Wikipedia's policy. -- BMT 18:25, 28 January 2007 (UTC) reply

Chris Lester (and for that matter Raker). I have noticed that you both enjoy singling out information regarding sports for removal. Whether or not you have a vested interest (other than the improvment of accuracy in wikipedia) for doing this, i would appreciate you not removing it straight but rather adding a "citation needed". Then you would be kind enough to fix them up! I'll get there when I have the time. I do not believe that Squash is often seen by pupils as a 'cop out' activity, for the majority of pupils who would rather not be doing any activity at all will choose this. Quite often, when participating in matches against other schools or against other houses within the school, pupils who don't normal play squash will on these occasions play for Bethany is fair. Does a possible citation exist (i.e. have you conducted a survey, etc. or not) - I doubt it. Even so, I'd say this information is not needed, is irrelevant, and seems to me like you are using this as a method to attack something and propagate your view on something. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
