Task force

I'm having trouble identifying a task force to put this article into. None of the existing task forces seem to be appropriate. Is there one for Central Asia? Or Afghanistan? I couldn't see any. Maybe I am missing something...From what I can see, most articles dealing with Afghanistan at this time seem to have been placed in categories involving US, UK, etc. because their forces were also involved, but there doesn't seem to be one for an action only involving ANA or Afghan forces only. The Middle East task force seems a possibility, but even then it doesn't seem exactly right. Perhaps it is time to create a Central Asia task force for mil hist? Only a suggestion, though. I've tagged it as "no task force" to join other orphans such as Sri Lankan Civil War and Haitian Invasion of the Dominican Republic. I'd like to convince existing task forces to encompass some of the orphans (Sri Lanka) or create a new one such as Caribbean/Central American task force. - Canglesea ( talk) 04:18, 25 March 2009 (UTC) reply

First sentence in Background section is incomplete

The first sentence in the Background section reads: "Badghis province had seen a marked increase in insurgent activity, ... " This vague statement in a B-class article needs further explanation and should explain over what time period the increase had occurred, as well as what sort of measure is used for the "activity". Does the increase in "activity refer to more encampments, more patrols, or more attacks, by insurgents? An increase in the population of visible militants, alone, is not necessarily correlated with an increase in insurgent activity. - Cameron Dewe ( talk) 02:07, 10 September 2022 (UTC) reply
