Wouldn't like to add this section myself, for fear of doing it wrong, but a lot of doctors in the UK prescribe aqeous cream as a moisturiser, and it is not meant to be left on as a moisturiser, as it can damage skin.

So, maybe add a warning, or a section or something to tell people.

Never use any petrochemical sealant/barrier, containing harsh chemicals and toxic preservatives on a bad burn it will make the scarring much worse. in cases with controlled tests scarring does not occur in regions where aqueous cream/sorboline has not been applied. if you want to moisturise in a nutritionally and genuinely beneficial way try alo vera, the real leaf not the various extracts and "juices" and drinks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.101.100.14 ( talk) 06:42, 26 April 2012 (UTC) reply

Indications

It has been remove it from the NICE guideline on the management of eczema in 2007 and is no longer advised for use in radiotherapy.. so apparently nothing is left from the indications. [1] It might be used for washing as originally intended? Richiez ( talk) 21:12, 16 May 2018 (UTC) reply
