I just watched this again. Gimme a ricer ride. I want the speed lines and all that junk. HAhahaha. What utter nonsense. 01:40, 30 May 2006 (UTC)

What does this have to do with making the Wikipedia page better is this just some joke you're coming up with I'm confused, is this site like Reddit? Cooper0014 ( talk) 06:52, 14 February 2022 (UTC)Cooper0014 reply

agree. is it just me or is the featured cars section in this article completely unfuckingnecessary? i mean, i could make an article on my garage, and include my red piece of shit, but would it mean anything? 35.11.242.130 07:22, 26 August 2007 (UTC) reply

the harpoon thing is called an ESD, but is an Electronic Disruption Device. Shouldn't that be EDD then? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.11.252.253 ( talk) 01:14, 4 November 2008 (UTC) reply

Maybe Electronic Signal Disruption? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.121.45.103 ( talk) 02:05, 13 April 2009 (UTC) reply

NO, it's called an ESD in the movie so don't fucking change it to EDD. I fucking changed it back because I'm trying to provide accurate info but some fucking assholes keep inputting inaccurate shit. Wiki already has a bad reputation, I can see why. It's loaded with bad and suspect information and when someone tries to fix that some other dickhead changes it back to the bad info. Prelude

This is a snip of the "Prelude" section:

Shortly after letting Toretto escape at the end of the first film, Brian is now wanted by the FBI. He promptly leaves Los Angeles, CA, in a red Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4, heading eastbound. He travels to Phoenix, AZ, and Santa Fe, NM, winning money from other street racers on the way.

It's always been mentioned in other sources that this is NOT a VR4 he is driving, but most likely an SL. One easy way to tell this is not a VR4 is that during one of the races shown in the prelude, the front tires of the car spin, but the back tires don't. The VR4 has AWD transmission, so it is impossible to have just the front tires spin. Can we just take out the VR4 part? Sumnjim 14:19, 2 March 2007 (UTC) reply

I took out the "VR-4" reference, because it's obviously not a VR-4, however I'm not 100% sure if it is the bae model or the SL, so I didn't make any distiction between the models Sumnjim 14:19, 14 March 2007 (UTC) reply

Cleanup

I cleaned up the plot a little with better sentence structure and spelling/grammar. I did not extend the plot further than it was, however. I also updated the references in the article to the Evo that Brian drove. It has been confirmed in the 2 Fast DVD release that it was in fact an Evo VIII and not an Evo VII he was driving. -- sumnjim talk with me· changes 16:48, 25 April 2007 (UTC) reply

Somebody didn't clean up worth a shit because it was still loaded with spelling errors and such. Vague information as well. The Evo in part 2 is a VII model. The Skyline is not a V-spec II either, it's either a standard R34 or a V-spec. V-spec II's have an air intake scoop on the hood this car doesn't have that therefore it's not a V-spec II. Skyline Colour Change

I'd like to clear up the fact that it was myself who put the Aqua Metallic color in for the car before anyone looked at the book for the movie. Under an old name I put this in there last year or the year before. ( SnakeEyesNinja 02:41, 6 July 2007 (UTC)) reply

Lots more cars in the movie

Close to the end of the movie a whole heap of cars come out of a warehouse. If someone could add that into the article it would be great. Thanks. andrewrox424 Bleep 03:08, 12 August 2007 (UTC) reply

NCIS

I'm watching the NCIS Season 2 episode "Bikini Wax" and I was surprised when I saw two of the 2 Fast 2 Furious cars, or at least replicas of them, among a collection of street racers, those being Suki's S2000 (shown on the page and a paint job I'd recognize from a mile away) and the gold Supra Turbo ( [1]) driven in the opening race of the film by the African American racer with the afro (sorry, I forget the character's name, but he's the guy that had the blowout and crashed into a billboard). Just curious if this something worthy of a mention somewhere on the page? Spartan198 01:02, 11 December 2009 (UTC) reply

Canon or Non-canon?

Story-wise, what is the official status of this film? I ask this because Brian's character here (as he is a fugitive on the run) conflicts with the one in Fast & Furious (wherein he becomes an FBI agent after the first film). - Areaseven ( talk) 04:20, 21 April 2010 (UTC) reply
