In this article the English translation ("secession") of the Dutch word "Afscheiding" is chosen somewhat unfortunately, as it idiomatically refers to a political context. I think "separation" or "schism" would be a better translation in this religious context. Also, "Secession church" (which I found elsewhere in wikipedia) already refers to churches involved in the Scottish " First Secession" of 1733 that is unrelated to the Dutch church schism of 1834.-- Ereunetes ( talk) 18:52, 16 November 2017 (UTC)
:This is known as the Christian reformation church, as well as the Christian Protestant church that stemmed from it as well. Kdanay ( talk) 04:37, 24 April 2021 (UTC)
