Requested move 1 September 2023
The following is a closed discussion of a
requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a
move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.
Oppose, the proposed title completely distances the title from the subject of the article. No mention of Serbia, no mention of Kosovo, just a vague mention of Yugoslavia and that it had something to do with colonization. Furthermore, the article is not about colonization efforts in Montenegro and Macedonia (and before you mention, Vojvodina neither). If the article is to be moved, it should be something along the lines of the previous requested move suggestions. –

This is a fair point, but the colonization efforts in Kosovo were the same as those in west Macedonia and south Montenegro, since it was the resettlement and land seizures of areas inhabited by Albanians. My point is that the colonization of Kosovo, Macedonia, and Montenegro are closely related to each other and should be part of the same article. Thanks,

Oppose The article does not need a wider scope. Create new articles on Macedonia, Montenegro etc.

Oppose. This is not merely a proposal to change the name, it is a proposal to change the scope of the article, but this article's scope is fine and does not need changing.
Oppose but I don't disagree with the fact that there were other colonization efforts. They require their own articles and if we included them in this article the end result would be the same: the article would have to split per region: Kosovo, Macedonia and others. @
Vipz: has raised some interesting points. This event describes a Yugoslav colonization of Kosovo in formal terms, but in practice this was a Serbian colonization of Kosovo and maybe this should be reflected in the article's title.--

Was settled by Albanians ?
Please go ahead and show us Albanians massively settling this place between 15th to 17th century because these 15th-16th century registers show Albanians as the inhabitants of this territory haha . Look at any 16th century register . Serbs settled this territory after Austrian-Ottoman wars.
