This is really recentism/self-absorption. The Yesha Council has done a number of notable things over the last 40 years! A third of the article shouldn't be devoted to their editing of Wikipedia. Prezbo ( talk) 01:33, 30 August 2010 (UTC)
It would really not be wrong to remove it or edit it down significantly. There are also plenty of sources that talk about the rest of their history, it's just that this is what Wikipedia editors find interesting for whatever reason. WP:WEIGHT says:
An article should not give undue weight to any aspects of the subject but should strive to treat each aspect with a weight appropriate to its significance to the subject. For example, discussion of isolated events, criticisms, or news reports about a subject may be verifiable and neutral, but still be disproportionate to their overall significance to the article topic. This is a concern especially in relation to recent events that may be in the news.
The current version of the article is in violation of that guideline and cutting down this section is a necessary part of fixing that. Prezbo ( talk) 02:09, 30 August 2010 (UTC)
There's no reason to argue that undue weight should only be fixed through the most labor-intensive method possible. Undue weight is a real problem; the article would be improved by deleting some of this content. Prezbo ( talk) 02:18, 30 August 2010 (UTC)

I've removed an old neutrality tag from this page that appears to have no active discussion per the instructions at Template:POV:
Since there's no evidence of ongoing discussion, I'm removing the tag for now. If discussion is continuing and I've failed to see it, however, please feel free to restore the template and continue to address the issues. Thanks to everybody working on this one! -- Khazar2 ( talk) 12:21, 18 July 2013 (UTC)
