I note with interest that the user page for Historiographer includes the following
Perhaps it will be constructive to address this perceived issue directly. If so, this thread provides a constructive opportunity.

Yang Yu (diplomat) →
Yang Su (diplomat) – I think his name is supposed to be 梁需 = 양수 = Yang Su? per
[1]. The French references seem to call him "Yan Yu". Tried all 3 versions in GBooks: "Yang Su" and "Yang Yu" received 1 (relevant) hit each, no hits for "Yan Yu". Edit: I think I know where "Yang Yu" comes from: Japanese sources such as
[2] called him 梁儒 = Yang Yu in Korean. I believe we should use the name found in
Veritable Records of the Joseon Dynasty in this case, which is Yang Su.
