check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
I think there's a typo in the listed species grown as crops in Nigeria. D. alata is listed as (yellow yam), but I think the author confused that with the separate species, D. cayennensis. D. alata is either white or purple, but not yellow-fleshed. D. cayennensis is the yellow yam, and is definitely a common Nigerian crop. — Preceding
