Mostly because it's irrelevant, i.e. no one really cares what kind of van they drive. Breathefire 17:28, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
If it's going to be there, I made it look decent. Changed some spelling, added links to the appropriate articles, removed some biased wording to make it read like an encyclopedia article, not a "puff-peice." I don't know the band members personally, but I would assume that some of the names may need quotations (such as Massive Mike being changed to "Massive" Mike, or "B-Town"). Also, some confusion on the van, since there is no "Dodge Prospector," only a Prospector edition on the Dodge Rampage (that I can find any mention of). If anyone wants to clarify, feel free to do so. edit: Jlricherson 00:12, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
I do not believe that this post should be deleted. It was deleted before because the band was not "notable". I disagree with this. If you do a google search for "xdeathstarx" you will see there are many results for this band. The bands record label has a wikipedia entry ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Facedown_Records). xdeathstarx is the largest band on their label. xdeathstarx is also one of the most popular christian bands that play hardcore music in the united states. For these reasons I believe the band is notable and deserves a wikipedia entry.
thank you

I have added several links to websites that have reviewed the bands albums. I also added a link to the bands iTunes store and ticketmaster ticket sales. I will add more links to media postings of the band later today. Thanks for helping me make this entry more notable. Josh Highland 18:39, 21 June 2007 (UTC) Josh
the X's are part of the bands name, it denotes they are a straight edge band. The x's are not pronounced though. This is common for bands of this musical genre. Josh Highland 18:47, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
I pronounce it "eksdeathstareks" anyway. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.54.71.198 ( talk) 15:48, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
What does this mean? It seems like two sentences that directly conflict with one another:
It has often been stated that all members of the band are interchangeable, meaning that any member can play any instrument at any time. This even applies if the member cannot play said instrument. (first paragraph)

XDEATHSTARx → XDeathstarx – Per MOS:TM and MOS:CAPS, all-caps in Wikipedia titles, even if they are names, are to be written in the style "Abcdefg". For example, refer to Time (magazine), Miami Heat, or Ottawa Redblacks. An exception to this would occur if the letters are pronounced individually, such as KFC. Taroaldo ✉ 22:26, 19 June 2013 (UTC)
WP:V does not apply, MOS:TM does. Time is stylized as TIME, Miami Heat is stylized as HEAT, Ottawa Redblacks is stylized as REDBLACKS. This move does nothing except apply MOS:TM consistently. Concluding that this move requires WP:V is non sequitur. Taroaldo ✉ 23:35, 22 June 2013 (UTC)
Why are we insisting on referencing of the bandmember list? Is there some debate as to who was in the band or what instruments they played? this sort of information is rarely controversial and should be trivially easy to verify. The whole affair looks a bit WP:POINTy to me. Chubbles ( talk) 18:07, 5 March 2016 (UTC)
