removing link to eboard dev site

Hi, I have just now removed the external link to http://www.eboard.sf.net with a broken edit message as I accidentally pressed enter too soon. The link was sending the user to the eboard site instead of [1]. John Vandenberg 23:53, 29 April 2007 (UTC) reply

Chess Variant Support

The article states that "This support has now been extended to all of the World's major Chess variants: Xiangqi (Chinese Chess), Shogi (Japanese Chess), Makruk (Thai Chess) and many Western variants on boards of deviating sizes (e.g. Capablanca Chess)." How does someone make the distinction between the major and minor variants of chess though? For example, does XBoard/Winboard support Fischerandom Chess? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lhignight ( talkcontribs) 00:41, 11 January 2011 (UTC) reply
