This page qualifies for speedy deletion because it is an advertisement and because it does not assert importance/significance. Just because the author could find published articles on the company does not make it important. Wikipedia is not a yellowpages. Mitsein ( talk) 07:36, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
Gonna have to disagree with you there.
Don't know if I'm allowed to retag this for speedy deletion, but I think my response is sufficient to reopen the debate, so I will. Leaving the tag off would prevent discussion from occurring. Mitsein ( talk) 08:58, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
Hi there.
First up, I want to disclose that I'm the Content Editor at Wotif Group, the parent company of Wotif.com.
I've noticed there is out-of-date information appearing on the page which I wanted to alert you to, so the community can decide what's relevant to update.
Homepage image: The Wotif.com homepage has changed considerably since the 2007 capture of the homepage that currently appears. See: www.wotif.com
Slogan: Our current slogan is shown on the Wotif.com homepage. We no longer promote the "GREAT RATES for a broad range of hotels, motels, apartments, resorts and bed & breakfasts around the world." tagline. See: www.wotif.com
Description of key business: The business has expanded from being purely a hotel reservations system to offer flights (launched in 2010), holiday rental accommodation (added in 2012) and packages (launched 2013). [1]
Offices: We have offices in Australia, New Zealand, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and the United Kingdom. [2]
Booking range: Expanded from 3 months to 6 months on 27 January 2011. [3]
Acquisition of travel.com.au: Wotif.com itself did not bid for and acquire travel.com.au. Wotif.com is the flagship brand for Wotif Group, which is listed on the Australian Stock Exchange as Wotif.com Holdings Ltd. Wotif.com Holdings Ltd (Wotif Group) is the parent company. [4]
CEO: Robbie Cooke resigned as CEO on 18 September 2012 [5]. He left the company on 11 January 2013, and the new CEO, Scott Blume, joined the company on 21 January 2013 [6] (external), or [7] direct source.
