The Woolton is not the only single-screen cinema in Liverpool. The Odeon in Allerton Road has always been a single-screen cinema. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.132.219.42 ( talkcontribs)

There is a high profile public campaign to save Woolton Cinema supported by local radio and press. The aim is to run the cinema as a charity for the benefit of local residents and the wider Liverpool community * Campaign to save the cinema
