My birthday falls on the 24th and I went to West Bend West. A Friend of mine, who was born on the same day and same year, went to West Bend East. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 139.139.193.12 ( talk)

I don't think the birthday thing is correct. When I attended WBE, I believe the assignment was determined by your home address. Odd addresses went to East, even addresses went to West. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 128.210.184.68 ( talk)

Well, then it's been changed. They've always held on to the "family loyalty" thing. Originally it was random, then birthdate (dumb), then modified birthdate (really dumb), after that, I left the WB. I don't know what it is now. 69.241.227.98 20:35, 20 December 2006 (UTC) reply

Merge

West Bend West High School pretty much just says it is part of West Bend high schools, a single building housing the East and West high schools. -- Midnightcomm 04:58, 13 December 2006 (UTC) reply

I have been bold and done the merger. My reasons are: the merge tags have been there for a long time and no objections were raised on a merge, the West schools article state made it eligible for speedy deletion, and as it was a merge with no loss of information it did not need to go through AFD. Assessment

I am assessing this article for WikiProject Schools as Stub / Low. A potentially interesting article about two double schools. References are needed to verify content and more information is needed on the schools - such as history (why are they divided?), curriculum and facilities. Some pictures and an info-box would also be good. I am giving this article "Mid" importance due to the unique setup and school selection system of the schools. School Selection

I can confirm with out a doubt that Students are selected to go to East if born on even day and west if born on an odd day. Unless of course you have a sibiling that went there. I know this because it is my home town and was my HS before i graduated. NOTE: I am too lazy to log in. Move, rewrite

I moved the article and rewrote it to be about the entire district, not just the two high schools. While I think that high schools generally are notable enough to have their own articles, the unique case here makes it better to have one article as others have suggested. -- Baron Larf 18:00, 17 February 2010 (UTC) reply
